Design fads are not the only by-products of rapid change on the web. Changing methods of interaction, marketing intelligence, search engine optimization, social media integration, and information aggregation open up the greatest levels of new opportunities. We keep up-to-date on the latest technology to ensure that we can offer you the broadest spectrum of new opportunities.
We Embrace Open Source
Many of the popular ready-made software solutions for the web that we recommend to our clients are open source and free to use with no up-front costs. Examples include WordPress for blogs and content management and MediaWiki for information repositories. In cases where customers use open source solutions, we aid in the process of installing it, setting it up for live operation, configuring themes and layout, and adding plugins for extending functionality. We also have the expertise to make custom code changes or to write custom themes, plugins, and extensions.
WordPress
WordPress started as a blogging system and has since evolved to be used as a full content management system (and so much more) enjoying wide availability of thousands of plugins and widgets and themes. WordPress is limited only by your imagination (and tech chops.)
From the documentation to the code itself, WordPress was created by and for the community. WordPress is an Open Source project, which means there are hundreds of people all over the world working on it. (More than most commercial platforms.) It also means you are free to use it for anything from your recipe site to a Fortune 500 web site without paying anyone a license fee.
WordPress Themes
WordPress users may install and switch between different themes. Themes allow users to change the look and functionality of a WordPress website and they can be installed without altering the content or health of the site. Every WordPress website requires at least one theme to be present and every theme should be designed using WordPress standards with structured PHP, valid HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). Themes may be directly installed using the WordPress “Appearance” administration tool in the dashboard or theme folders may be uploaded via FTP. The PHP, HTML, and CSS code found in themes can be added to or edited for providing advanced features. WordPress themes are in general classified into two categories, free themes and premium themes. All the free themes are listed in the WordPress theme directory and premium themes are available for purchase from marketplaces and individual WordPress developers like ECware.
WordPress Plugins
WordPress’ plugin architecture allows users to extend the features and functionality of a website or blog. WordPress has over 40,501 plugins available,[14] each of which offers custom functions and features enabling users to tailor their sites to their specific needs. These customizations range from search engine optimization, to client portals used to display private information to logged in users, to content management systems, to content displaying features, such as the addition of widgets and navigation bars.
Other WordPress Features
WordPress also features integrated link management; a search engine–friendly, clean permalink structure; the ability to assign multiple categories to articles; and support for tagging of posts and articles. Automatic filters are also included, providing standardized formatting and styling of text in articles (for example, converting regular quotes to smart quotes). WordPress also supports the Trackback and Pingback standards for displaying links to other sites that have themselves linked to a post or an article. WordPress blog posts can be edited in HTML, using the visual editor, or using one of a number of plugins that allow for a variety of customized editing features.
We also Embrace Microsoft .Net
.Net technology offers many benefits for web application developers. It empowers software development teams to create powerful high quality yet easy-to-use information systems. Being platform independent, .Net enables businesses to quickly integrate their existing systems, information, and devices, thus assisting in collaboration and effective communication.
Advantages of .Net technology
- The main advantage of using the .Net technology is the reduced amount of code necessary for building applications. Better performance is provided by using the just-in-time compilation, early binding, caching services and native optimization.
- Web pages created with the .NET technology perform common tasks such as form submission and client authorization more easily.
- The .Net technology is language independent, which lets users choose the language that will better suit their applications.
- A web application created through the .NET technology is reliable being as the web server controls the pages on an ongoing basis. If it detects any infinite looping, memory leakage and any kind of abnormal and illegal activities, the server at once destroys the bad threads and restarts itself again.
